Websites I think are neat/useful

If a link isn't working, let me know by writing your message in chalk on the sidewalk in front of my apartment building, thanks in advance.

Art/Books/Music

The Internet Speculative Fiction Database: Community database of scifi, fantasy, and horror. Great for finding more info on old pulp publishers.

Standard eBooks: A collection of well formatted and accessible ebooks of works in the public domain. I love project gutenberg but reading stuff you find on there can be a chore. These ebooks are /nice/.

Open Stax: A collection of openly licensed digital textbooks from Rice University on a wide variety of subjects.

PhilPapers: Index of acedemic papers on philosophy topics, often with links accessible to those w/o a university account.

Old School Essentials SRD: THE ttrpg reference document all others take note.

Broke Ass Guitars: A website that walks you through the process of setting up your electric guitar/bass.

Daily Script: A large collection of movie scripts, sometimes w/ multiple versions, ie draft one, draft 2, final.

Local

Safe in a Crowd: Listing of greater Boston area punk/hardcore/diy shows.

History

The Medieval Bestiary: A large collection of medieval animal art. Great for reference or if you want to see a fun image of a little guy.

Manuscript Miniatures: A collection of medieval miniatures depicting armoured figures. I got my header image from here.

De Re Militari, The Society for Medieval Military History: Great resource for merdieval warfare history. Recent books reviews, articles, primary sources resources, etc.

Food/Drink

Difford Guide Cocktail Finder: Large database of cocktail recipes that you can search/filter by what you have. Good when you want to try something new, but don't want to have to go out and buy weird alcohol you are only going to use one time.
